Judaism :- Food

The topic we are going to talk about is what kinds of foods do Jews eat? What are they allowed to eat and what they cannot eat?

In Hinsdale Central's Quest food they don't serve adequate Jewish food. Maybe because the school is not aware of what do students of all religions eat so the school serves what they have on their menu. According to my research Jews are allowed to eat Kosher food. They cannot mix dairy and meat together. They only eat slaughtered meat. They can eat fish whose fins are detachable from the skin. Their dietary laws are written in the Torah. Jews have different kinds of cuisines like Sephardic Cuisine, Ashkenazic Cuisine, and Israeli Cuisine. The Jewish dietary laws are called Kashrut. Seven types of produce are wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranate, olives, and dates were also eaten in biblical times.

I think now the school should set up an extra counter or stall for Jews so that they can eat their traditional Jewish Kosher food so that they have more food options and they can enjoy their food. The school should make a form and distribute it to every student so that the school can know what do students eat from different religions and then the school should make arrangements according to that.

Based on my research I have written everything here. Now I would like to take from you all.

Thank you!
